About Global Quiz Domination

Global Quiz Domination is an interactive, fast-paced browser-based quiz game that challenges your brain with questions from a wide variety of categories. Whether you're a trivia junkie, a casual learner, or someone who just loves a challenge, this game is for you.

What Makes It Different?

Why I Created This

This project was created out of a love for trivia games and the desire to build something unique, educational, and fun for players around the world. Global Quiz Domination isn’t just a game, it’s a test of reflexes, memory, and world knowledge.

Who Is Behind It?

Global Quiz Domination was built and maintained by an independent developer. I'm passionate about clean code, educational content, and building interactive web experiences that don’t rely on accounts or logins, just play and enjoy.

How It Works

The game tracks your score and progress temporarily during each visit. I do not collect or store personal information. Ads may be displayed to help support the project.

Play in Full screen mode (iPhone)

You can add a website icon to your iPhone Home Screen to play it in Full Screen mode for a better experience. The address bar will not be visible at all, recommended especially if you hold your phone sideways.

1. Go to the website you want to add to your Home Screen.
2. Tap the button in the menu bar.
3. Scroll down the list of options, then tap Add to Home Screen.
   
   If you don’t see Add to Home Screen, you can add it. Scroll down to the bottom of the list, tap Edit Actions, then tap Add to Home Screen.

Play in Full screen mode (Android)

You can add a website icon to your Android Home Screen to play it in Full Screen mode for a better experience. The address bar will not be visible at all, recommended especially if you hold your phone sideways.

1. Go to the website you want to add to your Home Screen.
2. Tap the button in the menu bar.
3. Scroll down the list of options, then tap Add to Home Screen.
4. Tap Install.

Play in Full screen mode (PC)

Press the F11 key on your keyboard. On some laptops it could be Fn + F11.

Play in Full screen mode (Mac, using Safari browser)

Press Press Ctrl + Cmd + F on your keyboard OR click the green icon in the top of the browser window and select "Enter Full Screen.".

Graphics performance issues

If the animations are not smooth on your computer:

1. If your computer has a Nvidia or AMD GPU, make sure it is active even for web browsers. Often there is a "default" or "standard" mode that does not use the GPU for web browsers. It uses the CPU instead, which is much slower.
2. If your computer is older, try limiting your FPS to maybe 40 FPS in your graphics settings (if you have the possibility to change it). Less than 40 FPS, I recommend you upgrade your hardware.
3. Look for a setting that "increase performance" rather than "increase quality".

If the animations are not smooth on your phone:

1. On some mobile devices, there is a setting which limits the update frequency of the screen to save power. For example 60 Hz or 120 Hz. Choose 120 Hz, it's faster!

Troubleshooting

1. This website is updated often, if it's not working properly, try deleting your browsers cached files!
2. PC with Nvidia graphics card, if the GPU mode is set to "Standard", it might switch from CPU mode to GPU mode in the middle of the game which throws an error! Solution = Set your graphics settings to either GPU or CPU mode, not Auto! Choose GPU for performance.
